Yeah, that is right The Titans are 7-0!!!! What a great win on MNF. Also, I actually have a little time to get on here and write. Things are going pretty good, just busy still with football season coming to an end for us this year. We didn't make the playoffs, but have the program heading in the right direction!
Things at church are going great we are blessed by God so much and he is allowing great things to happen. We had a huge crowd at (Trunk or Treat) and Habitat House is almost finished. Amazing Well have a great week everyone and ADIOs Amigos

Have you ever stop and thought this before? I really think that I have early signs of being absent minded. I was in the middle of something the other day and started to try to do something else at the same time and totally forgot about my first task. I then asked myself What are you doing? It was important to and I totally forgot. Pretty soon I will probably start peeing in my pants....I hope not though. I have finally Mustard up enough time to sit and write down a few words for you all. I have been Super busy trying not to get frustrated with the students. It is like you basically have to hold their hand while they do things. They have to be told a million times to do things and then wander when they do it wrong what happened. Anyways Football season is here and I am PUMPED!

WoW!

Is all I can say about the new changes in my life! I honestly thought changing jobs would not be so hetic, but boy was I wrong. It is like I dont' have enough time to breathe when I sit down that I have got to do something else. I don't want to whine but just a little rest please! I just thought since I was teaching the same subject my schedule wouldn't be chaotic but it is I have 30 kids in class as appose to 18.

The workout process has slowed down due to a recent surgerical procedure done by my partner. I wish him a quick recovery.

Yes!! That is right you can smell the grass and everytime you drive by the fields you can even hear the crowds roar(If you listen close enough) We have been practicing for 2weeks now and you can see vast improvement. Today, was the first really hot day the temperature was over a 100 degrees! I can't help but get excited for the upcoming season, fantasy football, and other fall sports as well. This is an exciting time of the year. Good luck to all your teams except Tennessee when they play the Gators!

What cause us to be so unhappy?

This is the question that I have been asking myself for a week. When I am around people, i have the tendancy to watch their demeanor and most of the time I can pick up on their moods. I must say that I haven't been too impressed with the happiness. ( I am including myself in this, too!) We are blessed and why can't we just be satisified with what we have, instead of being so self centered and wanting more?

In the Dallas Airport DFW who is it? Well going through the Airport Security checkpoint. I see this huge guy wearing shades at 5 am in the morning, I knew then he was someone famous. I kept looking and looking and sure enough..... It was National League MVP Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies. Yes, I did get his autograph in my journal, if you ask me I will show it too you. Chalk this up into a huge file of strange happenings in Big Dunc's world

Back to the World as I know It

It hit me last night, that I really was back at the land of busy, busy, busy! I had to get ready for Kidstuff (childrens program at church) mow the football field, clean...etc. Then I stopped and looked and my bracelet and realize to slow down and enjoy life. The bracelet reference to when I was in Belize. Like other blogs have mentioned, I was serving others instead of myself and was to focused on that mission to worry about the petty stuff. I don't say this to make anybody feel jealuous or look at me I went on a mission trip type of statement, but just to say that I am going to just ask myself "Does it really matter?"

Belize was amazing so much that I can't begin to clear my thoughts enough to type them on this blog. So much that God did while we were there and I am excited about what he did and continues to do for the Belizans. I will tell you that there were a lot of 1st time things that happen on this trip. HA! I will tell you at a later date.

Belize Day 1

The day started off with us arriving at the Airport earlier than anyone else where we saw the christian group Mercy Me. Then it was a smooth ride to Dallas and that is where it gets interesting. Dallas we had a 3 hour layover in the big D. Then when we got on the plane I was seated by a larger person than me. YEs, we looked like two rhinos riding a tricycle. So, the flight attendant made my dreams come true. HE bumped me up to 1st class the only time I have ever got to ride in that section. The treatment was great and the food was excellent! Anyways enough about my troubles. We finally got here in Belize City and went through customs smoothly. End of the Travel day!

Sunday:
Just got finished with breakfast and getting ready to go to worship. Some of us will enjoy some CAVE Tubing this afternoon. Then we will have a meeting to get ready for a hard week doing Gods work. Love you all

PUMP IT UP

Yes, that is right Daddy is back in the gym getting his pump on and it hurts! My friend JC aka JOHN CARNAHAN the beast got me to start helping him work out. He is making tremendous jumps in weight just over the two to three week period. Keep it up John! Me on the other hand, it is like riding a bike you never forget it just takes time to get it back.
Weightlifting has always been a passion for me and I lover help train people. I love it when people start seeing results from their hard work. Also, summer is upon us and we have to get our beach or lake bodies HA!!!!

A Great Start

I had the privilege it accompany our youth group to Gulf Shores, Alabama this past week and it was.....AWESOME! We had a great time with another group that we joined (Twickenham church of Christ) It was great to see more than 50 teens worshiping and showing a great love for God.
I just want to say that it was a great preview for a GREAT Summer to come.

Wow!!! How time goes by quick, it just seems like oh.....12 years ago I was graduating High School! This is a very special but nerve racking time for the Seniors in High School.

Well we got our 1st win of the season on Tuesday night! We won 21-15. Awesome but we tried to give it away. One thing is for certain........ Man am I sore!
I feel like I have just been beaten with about 12 of those little wooden bats or been in a prison camp like in the movie Rambo where they shock him to a inch of his name. Yes everytime I take a step it feels like my legs are going to break like a piece of soft toothpick. Looks like I am going to have to hit the hot tub tonight. Stick my foot in the hot tub....Ahhhhh that's hot! HA (SNL)

Come out and watch us play next Tuesday if you guys have nothing to do, I promise you will enjoy it.

Summer is Here

Wow!! Only a week left of school and I am ready for a great summer! Yes I know this is a photo when I was in college and I was jacked!! HA. I am starting on the transformation phase to get back to this level. I can't wait for camping trips, lake house and just being outside and enjoying mother nature. Oh I can't mention the BBQ's that will go on ( cause this is out of my diet)

This is my favorite time of the year and I hope you enjoy it as well.

Let it Go

Is it just me or do sometimes the words, "let it go" seem so hard to do? This is a motto that I copied from a Math Teacher at Whitthorne about 3 years ago. Of course he was stating about things that happen in our past. If you let a situation effect everything you do and think, then you haven't let it go. This is so hard for us as humans and christians to do. Sometimes it means that you have to humble yourselves and forgive(let it go) that person or persons involved in the situation. You have to be the better person or realing what your parents were telling you was that you had to be the adult in the situation. HA! Which now that I am getting a little bit older I can see that. I was just wandering if you guys every struggle with just LETTING IT GO?

The school year is almost at its end and I can't help but think back to how anxious I was as a student to get out of school. Guess what? Nothing has changed I know am a teacher and I still feel the same way. We just got beat last night in Softball (Upset) and they simply wanted to win more than our girls. Which brings me to my next question for anyone out there. Do it really matter to them whether they win or lose?

Strange Happenings

Is it just me, or do crazy things happen to you guys as well? It never seems to fail no matter where I travel... I see someone either I know or someone famous.

Example 1: Two years ago I was traveling with some friends back from a week of skiing in Colorado, when suddenly there he was Mr. All-Pro, Super Bowl MVP Terrell Davis. As you can imagine I was as excited as a kid in a candy store. I suddenly yelled what up TD !(his nickname) and yes he waved back. I was hunting him down like a lion hunts down a zebra. I ran and got my photo made with him because I knew my friends would never believe me

Stuff like this happens to me where ever I go and I just wanted to share that with you guys
